This month my team swap was a colour swap...we used the colours Old Olive, Orchid Opulence & Rich Razzleberry (see page 30 of the Autumn-Winter Mini for other examples and the gorgeous Cottage Wall papers in these colours). That's why the 'Oooorr!' title...the colours are so great together that you could almost say that couldn't you! :)

Aren't these cards by Sharyn & Pam just lovely!

Give this colour combo a try!

Razzle Med-azzle

Here's another Medallion card using the new Rich Razzleberry colour - so pretty!! :)
I've used one of the Circle Circus stamps in the middle, punched out with the scallop circle punch, and added a rhinestone brad for bling. How easy's that?

Wheaty Weeds

Perhaps this is too simple? What does it need? A couple of brads perhaps?... hmm what do you think?

I've used whisper white and rich razzleberry cardstock, along with soft suede and rich razzleberry ink.

Stamp sets: Autumn Days, and Heard from the Heart.

All from the Autumn-Winter mini catalogue.

Soft Autumn Days

Here I've used the cute/funny little pheasant from the new Autumn Days stamp set in the Autumn-Winter Mini catalogue. I've seen on some blogs that this little fella's been named all sorts of Heath! :)

I've used soft suede, kraft and whisper white cardstock, and only soft suede ink. The wheat sheaves are inked as a background, and Mr Pheasant is stamped 3 times from the same inking (don't re-ink).

Add a few gold brads for a bit of extra bling. This certainly isn't a 'girly' card so lends itself to any of those times you need a more masculine card.

Triple Treats and Smackings of Colour

Pixie Pink & Summer Sun

Regal Rose & Rose Red

Perfect Plum & Pale Plum

I am not sure if I invented this colouring myself or picked it up somewhere in blogland amongst the maze of crafty blogs.

In any case, I'll call it 'Colour Smacking' :)

Take two colours you like. Open the Stampin' Up! ink pad, and hold upside down, and simply 'SMACK' the ink pad across the cardstock in all directions. Do the same with the other colour.

If you have any creases, it'll highlight the creases too for quite a groovy effect.

I've 'colour smacked' these little triangle pouches (which need no adhesive to stick together mind you)...and decorated with punches. If you would like the template for these, just drop me a line.

Happy smacking!

Crisp Manhattan Flowers

Isn't this such a beautiful embossing die? It's the exclusive Stampin' Up! Manhattan Flower Die...use it with the Big Shot. It almost feels like shortcutting when a card takes so little time for such a nice outcome! :)

I have used the new Melon Mambo cardstock (a scrap from the Fancy Favour Box die) and Melon Mambo ink, and the other card used Elegant Eggplant cardstock and ink.

Fancy Favour Boxes

Kraft Cardstock with Soft Suede ink

Melon Mambo Cardstock

Here are some boxes made using the 'Fancy Favour' Big Shot die. This an exclusive Stampin' Up! die and isn't available any where else.

I have used the new Melon Mambo cardstock for the above box, and the Kraft cardstock with the new Soft Suede ink for the first box. Don't you love these new In-Colours!

Have I mentioned how much fun using the Big Shot machine is?!? :)

Big Shot Pillow Boxes

Here are a couple of cute little pillow boxes made with the Big Shot and the Pillow Box Die. I have also used the new Bird Punch for one of the boxes. So quick - no cutting, one strip of adhesive, and the punch is assembled! Too easy!

If you haven't got a local demonstrator and would like more information about the Big Shot or to purchase any Stampin' Up! products, just phone or send me an email.

New Bird Punch

Here's a quick simple card made with the new Bird Punch from the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue. I have punched a Basic Black and a Certainly Celery bird and combined the pieces. The Certainly Celery cardstock had been run through the Big Shot first using the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder.

This new mini is packed with loads of goodies, and the Big Shot is heaps of fun to use!

Fox & Friends

Another couple of very quick simple cards for you made with Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue goodies. This stamp set is called 'Fox & Friends' and has some very cute little animal images included in it. I've also used the leaf from the new Bird Punch on one of the cards.

Suede Medallion

Here's a card using one of the 3 new In-colours from the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue. Soft Suede - used in the cardstock and ink. The stamps are the Medallion stamp and one of the 'Heard from the Heart' sentiment stamps.

Butterfly Punch is Still Available!

For those of us who thought the Butterfly Punch flew off with the end of the Spring Mini, well, it isn't the case. Stampin' Up! have decided to 'carryover' the Butterfly punch through this new Autumn Mini. So for those who thought they missed haven't!

Other items that are 'Carryons'....the Scallop Oval Punch, Jumbo Brads, Stazon Cleaner, and White Stazon.

These cards have used the 'Rock n Roll' Technique...make sure you apply the lighter ink colour first before the darker one so you don't mess up your light ink pads :)
