Tool Box

This is the last project from the recent 'Male projects' class.
The box is a lot smaller than it looks in the photo. A little tricky to put together, but looks pretty cute in the end. Specially with the extra 'tools' in the tool box.

The girls also loaded their boxes up with wrapped lollies for extra sweetness :)

We used the 'Totally Tools' stamp set for this project.

You can find the box template and instructions HERE on Splitcoaststampers.

More later!

Coupon Book

At the same class I mentioned previously, we also created some 'Coupon Books'. This is an idea for that 'someone' who has everything!

You can make the coupons out for anything you wish...or are willing to do...e.g. dinner of choice, movie of choice, a night out with the boys, control of the remote for one night, no 'back seat driving' for one day :).... the possibilities are endless!

The Cutter Kit was used to perforate the coupons, so they can be ripped out. We also used Watercolour Paper, Black Stazon Ink, Stampin' Write Markers & Aqua Painters.

Find the template and tutorial for the coupon book HERE on the Splitcoaststampers website. Tell me about your own creations!

More Watercolouring

Here's another Coupon Book, similar to yesterday's post. This time I've used the ute from the 'Loads of Love' stamp set. Pretty cute.

Also, Stampin' Write Markers were used, Black Stazon, Watercolour paper, Aquapainter & Windsor Knot DS Paper (soon to be retired).

Markers & the Aqua Painter are one of the quickest methods of watercolouring (and lots of fun!)

See yesterday's post for links to the coupon book tutorial and templates.

Drop in again soon!

Shirt Fold Cards

For my latest class, we made a few 'male' projects, including this card. The little paper shirt only uses a piece of DS Paper 6"x4" and is quite a simple origami fold.

I got the tutorial for it from Cambria Turnbow's site HERE. Check out her other creations and tutorials while you are there. Very clever lady :)

More later,
Thanks for stopping by!

Memory Book

Here's a 'Memory Book' I decorated for a special person in our was made with the On Board Art Journal from Stampin' Up!'s catalogue (p147 in the current IB&C), and decorated with chipboard letters & numbers. I used the papers from Stampin' Up!'s 'Urban Garden' DS papers, coordinating thin grosgrain ribbon (also Stampin' Up!).

This book was then used for memories to be written in, and any cards/well wishes to be pasted in too for a keepsake.

I didn't get a picture before it was filled, and sometime on the big day a few of the little ribbon bits 'vanished'. Ah well :)

Thanks for dropping on in :)

Little Ties Explained

Sorry it's taken this long to show how the little 'ties' are made as in the above photo I posted a while back.

Quick easy steps.
1. Tie a knot towards the end of your ribbon (mine was chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon)
2. Cut above the knot
3. Trim the end of the 'tie' into a 'V' shape.

Your tie is done and ready to wear! :)

Topnote Friends Box

Another of our class projects... a cute little box. We used the Topnote Die through the Big Shot, and the Vintage Vogue stamp set from the mini.

I sourced the box template HERE care of the always-amazing Kerin Sylvester, and the box detail from Claire Daly. Check out her blog while you are there...she's one very clever lady!!

This was a heap of fun to make!
Til next time,

A Bit Patchy

I recently held a class using the Topnote Die as the main feature.
We used the Cottage Wall DS papers from the mini catalogue, so used the colours Rich Razzleberry, Orchid Opulence, & Old Olive.
Great colour combination.

Here are two similar cards to another patchwork topnote card I posted a little while ago.

If you are interested in joining in on a class or purchasing a 'class kit' just drop me a line! :)

Happy crafting!
Anna :)

p.s. did you notice the photos are a bit clearer? Well, what do you was a little person's fingerprint smudge! :)

Wet Washing & Sesame Street Bundle

Don't fall over with shock, I'm back...3 days in a row!
Here's the next of my team's the clever Sharyn!

The Sesame Street card (so cute!) was for our 'Male/Boy' card swap the month before last, and the line with pegged baby outfits was obviously for our 'Baby' swap.

So clever! Thanks Sharyn!
Thanks for popping in!

Saturday, 7 August 2010

No you don't need to get your eyes tested...there is definately a 'fuzzy' spot on these photos...will need to have a good chat with my photographer...she's falling down on the job! :) (it's either that or I could blame the camera...truth be told, it's probably a little child's fingerprint on the lens!)

Every month when I gather my wonderful team together, we do a swap of some sort. This last month was 'Baby'. So I'll show you a few beautiful creations over the next few posts of these.

This great little watercoloured and framed number was by Reta. She's used a dimensional behind the pram carriage. This card's terrific!

Come back tomorrow!
