Today is the grand Royal Wedding! Much excitement for those in the UK and the Commonwealth who are 'royal' fans. I think there is so much excitement over it as it seems all there has been in the recent past are natural disasters and such, and people like a reason to celebrate! So, enjoy the party! :)
Here's a card I made for a friend who likes yellow roses.
I've used the Big Shot a few times on this card - the Elegant Lines embossing folder on the Glossy White base card, the Top Note die twice, and the Little Leaves die.
I've used the wide Oval punch and the scallop trim border punch, and the stamp set is from the recently retired Summer Mini. It is such a lovely set that I didn't have the heart to put away yet.
Thanks for popping in!

Here are a couple of more baby cards using the Baby Bundle stamp set.
I've stamped with Black Stazon ink onto Watercolour paper, and coloured with the Watercolour pencils and the Aquapainter.
I've used the sentiments from the same stamp set, and used the Polka Dot embossing folder for a textured background.
The ribbon is White Satin, with a couple of variations on the 'bow'.

Today is Anzac Day in Australia, remembering those who lost their lives for the freedom of our country, in World War 1 and all other wars Australia has aided in.
Probably a very fitting 'end' to the Easter long weekend I think.
Here's a different sort of baby card.
I've turned the card into a chest of drawers, and have some 'baby' items peeking out of the drawers.
A bit of sponging to the edges would have given this a bit of dimension, but I think the effect is still cute.
The stamped images are from the stamp set 'Baby Bundle'.
The little blanket is a scrap piece of Crumb Cake cardstock detailed with the Square Lattice embossing folder and the Big Shot.
Thanks for stopping in,

Happy Easter to you and yours.
May this weekend be a time of remembrance and celebration.
This is a picture of our children's creation of the Easter story. The empty tomb, the cross. That's our Easter story.
Back tomorrow with a baby card,

3 posts in one week! I need to keep it up, now, won't I!! :)
April is a busy month for birthdays, it seems, and I needed some quick!
The paper used on these cards is the 'Island Oasis' paper from the Summer Mini - it's so bright and cheery, I'm kicking myself for not opening it sooner!
A couple of different 'punch flowers' here...scallop circle scrunch flower and the 5 petal punch triple layer flower.
Thanks for stopping by!

I've seen this idea around for a while, but I've only just had a go, and was quite happy with the outcome.
This card has no stamping AT ALL on it!
I've cut a Rich Razzleberry scallop circle with the Big Shot, and trimmed the edges into a 'dress' shape.
I then sent it through the Big Shot again in the 'Elegant Lines' embossing Folder.
I added a few butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die, a bit of Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, and attached it to Glossy White card detailed with the new 'Framed Tulips' Embossing Folder.
What do you think? Maybe do one in white for a lovely wedding card?
Thanks for dropping in!

Finally! some 'new' creations. After being ill for a while, I had a creative burst the other night and made 5 cards! Incredible! :)
These cheery couple of cards were fun to make and use the new 'Build a Cupcake' Punch from the Autumn-Winter Mini catalogue.
I've used papers and matching cardstock from the 'Celebrations' DS paper. I've also used the crimper, Crystal Effects, and the Top Note shape with the Big Shot.
See you again soon!

Here are a couple cards I made for a 'tea lover's' workshop.
The colours used are Concord Crush for the first card, and Poppy Parade for the second.
I've used the 'Take a Sip' roller in the same colour in as the cardstock and rolled diagonally across the card.
I've also 'spritzed' the card with the matching Stampin' Write Marker and the spritzer.
The 'Morning Cup' images are stamped onto Watercolour paper with Black Stazon ink, and coloured in with the Watercolour Pencils, and washed with the Aquapainter.
The inside has a little pocket for a teabag or 'goodie' and is the 'Scallop Envelope die' cut from the Hostess Freebies In colour DS Paper pack.
The insert is a Whisper White topnote, with another image from 'Morning Cup' stamped in the corner and coloured with the Pencils and Aquapainter.
Til next time,
Thanks for stopping in!
